The DCM Lite (TM) is a fixed chromatic dispersion
unit for high-speed DWDM networks. They are
designed to offer a high compensation level while
maintaining very low insertion loss in a 1-RMU
shelf. The DCM Lite presents itself to be an
attractive alternative to the highly expensive
dispersion compensation fiber (DCF) where budgetary
constraint is a factor. |
