Telecom Field Technician
is responsible for installing, testing, provisioning,
trouble shooting and upgrading various telecommunications
equipment in a CO/POP or similar environment.

Responsibilities |
- Complete installation and provisioning of various
telecommunications equipment including fiber
optic, SONET,
mux, 48 Vdc power supplies, racks, fiber optic
equipment
- Heavy lifting of various equipment associated
with the job is required
- Must have the ability to work alone without
supervision
- Must be able to be placed on call 24 x 7

- Based out of our Minneapolis (Golden Valley),
MN office
- Extensive travel required throughout Midwest
and US (90% time), must have own vehicle
- Travel expenses paid

| Telecom Sales
Technician is responsible for sales of
our
products and services, generating new sales leads
and opportunities. |
| Experience / Skills Preferred |
- Previous telecommunication industry sales experience
to carriers, CLECs, ILECs, and telcos a definite
asset
- Established industry contact
- Highly motivated, have excellent oral
and written communication skills, excellent sales
skills, and an ability to deliver results
- Understanding of telecom technologies
such as SONET, DWDM, DS1, DS3, broadband networks,
Ethernet and fiber optics
- Able to accept accountability for areas
of responsibility and address all issues with
professional and personal integrity
- Driven by a strong customer focus communicating
service solutions at a customer level, and following
through the entire sales process from sale to
installation and customer satisfaction
- ability to work in an office environment
with minimum supervision

- Position is based out of our Minneapolis (Golden
Valley), MN office, remote location will be
considered
- Some travel to customer sites may be required
- Travel expenses are paid. Relocation costs for
this position are not paid
