Fiber connectors are available with three different types of end face
polish, PC (physical contact flat), SPC (super physical contact), UPC (ultra
physical contact), APC (angle physical contact). These different polish
types identify the amount of curvature that is placed onto the connector end
face during the manufacturing process.
