Summary
This webinar will inform attendees about how
WDM technologies are used to economically
increase single or dual fiber
capacity to 32+ channels (320 Gb/s) for transmission of any
protocol including 10GigE, GigE, SONET, SDH,
ATM, etc. Technologies such as DWDM,
CWDM, Cross Band Couplers, Bidirectional
Couplers, Optical Amplifiers (EDFAs), and proper
laser and pluggables (SFP, XFP, Xenpak,
etc) selection will be discussed. Technology
compatibility, limitations, reliability, system designs and pricing will also be discussed.
Questions from attendees will be answered as
time permits. Free estimates will be
offered to all attendees that would like their
fiber capacity increased.
